Moseley Village Railway Station is is a hotly anticipated addition to the local infrastructure of Moseley. It is expected to significantly reduce journey times to Birmingham New Street by 7 to 21 minutes*.
Part of the Camp Hill Line which was closed after the Second World War, investment was secured in 2020 to reopen Moseley Village Train Station along with Kings Heath and Pineapple Road. Initially the stations were intended to be open ready for the Commonwealth Games in 2022. Construction work is now nearing completion and a date for ‘entry into service’ is soon to be released – watch this space!
Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) and the West Midlands Rail Executive (WMRE) will lead the development and will be working closely with West Midlands Trains and National Rail.
Moseley Forum are working hard not only to ensure that the station lives up to expectations but that it is a benefit to the community.
