The Moseley Forum is a group of local volunteers working together to improve the area for the benefit of the whole community.

We seek to provide opportunities to give voice and influence issues of interest and concern about our neighbourhood.

Moseley Forum was established in 1999 and has delivered some great successes over the years including the establishment of the multi award-winning Moseley Farmer’s Market and the Moseley Arts Market.

Other significant achievements include establishing the Moseley Regeneration group with the Moseley Society, persuading the Boundary Commission to maintain the Moseley neighbourhood as one cohesive community during boundary change time, and purchasing hand-held speed camera devices to help residents create safer streets.

The Moseley Forum has been instrumental in influencing other significant developments such as the new Moseley railway station design, cycle lanes, and the location of the bleed kit station.

The Moseley Forum seeks to:

  • To consult and engage with the community to understand what improvements are required and what issues need to be raised.
  • To hold debates on issues affecting individuals, the wider community, businesses, and organisations in Moseley.
  • To build consensus around issues affecting Moseley.
  • To liaise with Councillors, City Council officers, the Police and other organisations, representing the views of Moseley residents.
  • To work with other voluntary and community organisations in and near Moseley to achieve improvements.
  • To create and deliver projects, with and for the Moseley community.
  • To comment on buildings and their usage where this impacts on people and has an impact on the community and residents of Moseley.

To achieve this the Moseley Forum is run by a group of volunteers and a member-appointed committee.

Membership to Moseley Forum is free for anyone living, trading or serving the community within the ward boundary.
