It’s the Council Elections on 3rd May 2018 with all ward councillors throughout Birmingham up for election. This year brings a new, two-councillor Moseley Ward following an earlier review of ward boundaries.
We will be holding a hustings event at:
The Moseley Exchange (behind the Post Office in Moseley village) starting at 7:30pm and ending at 9:15pm. All voting residents of Moseley are welcome to attend.
This will be your only opportunity to question to candidates in one place. If you’re undecided on who to vote for, this could convince you who will best represent our fantastic community.
At the time of writing we have candidates from all the main parties in attendance (the Green candidate has offered her apologies owing to a prior engagement).
Those nominated (as appears on the statement of persons nominated) are as follows (click on their names to take you to their respective websites):
David Farrow – Liberal Democrat
Izzy Knowles – Liberal Democrat
Dominic O’Callaghan – Conservative Party
Martin Straker-Welds – Labour Party
John Turner – Conservative Party
Rachel Xerri-Brooks – Green Party
