Public Meeting hailed a huge success

We were immensely proud to see so many engaged members of the Moseley community in attendance at our Public Meeting at Queensbridge School yesterday. We estimate the turnout out to be circa 500 people. Thank you everyone.

The audience were privy to contributions from Roger Godsiff MP, local Councillors, candidates from the Conservative and Liberal Democrats, chairs of Moseley Society and Moseley Regen Group, Moseley Interfaith group, Keith Marsden of The Prince of Wales pub and The Dark Horse in Moseley Village and of course members of the community.

In a vote at the end of the meeting the draft recommendation on boundary wards proposed for Moseley were overwhelmingly rejected by the audience. Furthermore, the audience overwhelmingly supported the Moseley community’s proposal for a new Moseley Ward. In a final vote, the audience overwhelmingly voted that the wider boundary review on Birmingham be rejected.
